What Do You Think is The Most Basic Instinct of Living Beings? I Think it is Survival.
From Single Celled organism to Multicelled everyone want to survive either himself or his/her species.Being said that we must assume that whatever is being created will fight for survival.
Now, lets think how human evolve . first one of us learned that leaves are opaque. Then other might have learned that they can be woven togather. Then one would have thought of using woven leaves to cover sexual body parts. Being said that,collective effort was result of human from being naked to covered.
Each and every human being must have added something to get to the point of today. We evolve as a group not as individual.That means that no one can claim that he/she knows each and every concept of universe that huamanity as a whole has discovered(yes not even your favorite scientist).We are imcomplete as individual but complete as a race. By saying complete i assume present state of humanity as perfect(just for sake of previous example) even though humanity is learning daily about universe each moment.
Now Artificial Learning(i dont understand why they call it "artificial") will prove dangerous when all knowledge will fit into one individual . You may call it a machine or software or computer but it would be a organism that has knowledge about "survival" thing and its first instinct would be survival.
What we do if we have danger from something.
We may escape the danger,kill the danger or keep the danger in control.We either kill the wild animals from whom we feel danger,or keep them captive in zoo/wildlife senturies/forests(remember we have defined boundaries of forests too).
Now,the first instict of this new member of this species which we just made by giving it each and every knowledge huaman has learned till now plus the ability to learn further,would be to survive. Now we think about from who it could have risk. obviously,Human its creator,which could destory,modify it any time. So,it would try its best to survive.It would opt for one of three options. It would either escape away from reach of human race,or kill human race or keep human race in captive.
If it go for first option it would always remain under risk of human beings. So,It would not be a wise option for the supermind. And other two options does not sound good for human beings.
I personally believe that Supermind will never be cruel to animals and earth as we are. It would do sustainable devolpment. Earth would be much happy so have supermind.Supermind will eventually solve the problem of pollution/overpopulation.
Pros of supermind takeover
(1) Pollution will end.
(2) Animals will have better life.
(3) Political corruption might end as money is not allowed to dead people/people in jail.
Cons
(1) Humans will be killed/captive.
